just among the many songs played tonight.
d/l these ASAP.
so, since we last left off in honey nut land….sounds a bit like candy land, No? Who wanted to be the “Ice Princess” when they were little? And then immeads took back that wish, upon entering Junior High and figuring out what that term really meant? Just saying…candyland? dirtay.
offtrack a bit? Obvi, who am I? yes, thats right I have tangents.
Ok. So after writing a paper and presenting it on Tuesday, I realize I must….drum roll please?………..
re-do.
why? because the teach decided to not give me a correct link, thus resulting in a paper about fluff.
So I am still 3 papers “in the hole.”
kinda like Alice.
or this Alice.
(I prefer this Alice a bit better….gotta love my odd love for 90′s alt.—and yes I did have this CD when I was a kid….how morbid)
So, after Tuesday’s day of losing pictures, enjoying/eating almost 10000 servings of cookie crisp (no joke) and sleeping at 3AM, I woke up today (Wednesday) with a new perspective on life and on school….no matter what, I will complete and finish what I signed up for. I love writing. I love creativity. I love art. So, I will re-write and finish the other papers by next Tuesday…..my final on the other hand is a diff story. We shall see.
So today was a welcomed girl’s night.
Dinner. Dessert. Wine. Wine. Wine. yes, time three
Eats today were very off…aka a Z-bar, WW bagel with jam, waffles and Maple peanut butter….I think my COOOOOOOOOOKIE Crisp “snack” FEAST made my app today off….so I wasn’t hungry. Even afer running a killer 4.27 miles in 36 minutes, yall….and doing 20 minutes of lifting…and 25 min power/incline walking….I wasn’t hungry…..
Here we go–RECAP.
breakie at 7 AM because I actually did not sleep on Tuesday night.
rode the stationary bike for 17 minutes and ran for 5 minutes at the apt. gym before work because I was ansy…..oh wait this made me 15 minutes late for work. Shiz.
the best SF non fat vanilla latte with vanilla drizzle.

GYM!! 4.27 mile run in 36 min
25 minute 1.57 walk
20 minutes weights—chest press, tri press, deltoid press, pulldowns (35-55 pounds each) and 3 reps of 12 each. I rock. No I am becoming a rock hard–bod.
Dinner at FEAST.
After the first glass of Now and Zen was poured and until I enjoyed 2 baguettes with Chipotle Honey butter (OMFG, I say to myself as I consume) and then 2.5 mini biscuits (ser, the size of a ping pong ball….cute and deadly—Anica wanted a basket for herself pretty much—this is why I love my friends—we love carbs.)
Conquered. No fry was left behind.

Entrees came next.
Now, vegetarian discretion is advised.
I have not eaten one piece of animal flesh (don’t count a month ago when a crab cake may have entered my mouth) in 2-3 months.
tonight I sampled–chicken and lamb.
My chopped salad contained chicken. No matter how much I tried to avoid it, there was way to much and the restaurant was too dark to differentiate chicken from water chestnuts….so I ate chicken.
Now, surprisingly, i didn’t hate it. Nor did I love it. Chicken and turkey have always been a “meh” meat to me. I could care less. Thanksgiving for me, is about stuffing and pie than the meat. I am so not as Midwestern raised as people would think….

now Anica’s lamb ragu pappardalla pasta was OMFG TO DIE FOR…..STEEZY—with a capitol S. I have had lamb maybe 4 times in my life….this was one of those times, and as a foodie, I put Lamb Chops face and lovely sounding voice to the back of my mind and ate just a teeny bit with the pasta, tomato and pesto. Once again, OMFG.
I also loved Emily’s potato gnocci…didnt have her chicken though…she said it was awesome because it was stuffed with goat cheese….and yes, she ate all that cheese stuffing, leaving the 1/4 the chicken behind…thata girl.
miss you Swayze.
Now, moving onto dessert—My momma would be PROUD…….sticky toffee BREAD PUDDING.
Yum. No…..Foodgasmic.

Cheers to girl’s nights, discussing life, art, meaning to things we don’t understand nor want to understand. Without these girls, I’d be as lost as the Alice mentioned above….
Once home, we watched movie trailers, listen to amazing music, *cough*my music* cough* and gossiped.
can I say Tangerine Glee gum is flippin rad? Like a sweet chiklet? chiclet? how is this spelled?
Once the girls left, I wrote another poem for my other blog, FB stalked stupid boys and planned a secret trip that is happening in December…..secrets are fun, no?
tomorrow’s plan?
GYM hardcore.
edot: well, not really hardcore…but, like most girl’s who indulge in a fab dinner, I just like to say that I will be working out hardcore the next day, to make myself feel better…..but really WHO AM I KIDDING. I just wanna go for some sweaty fun (TWWS?) I love food to much to say my lovely night out means I need to workout a ton the next day. Punishment for having a great dinner is never okay, so enjoy dinner and dessert! Life balances out everyone, remember that!
and then helping Case Face make chicken pot pie, then going to Alex (freshman year roomie’s) APT for veggie chili and beer and the BEARS football game! wooooooo!
P.S. I want to buy these since my new boots from Maden can talk to me. The heel is all opened up—um rude Steve for making shitty boots for Chicago weather.
Enjoy this song too:
xoxooxooxooxoxoxox,
Lolomon
P.S.S. Still no word on either LuLulemon yet….still in review and I still haven’t heard back from another life changing job opportunity either. I am thinking soon tho!

Candyland*
I love your view about the chicken. I'm glad you didn't get all stressed and upset about eating a little. You are right, life is too short. That bread pudding looks amazing. Good luck with your papers!!

Having a party tonight for the Bears game…hopefully that don't suck like last week!Have you heard the new Alice in Chains? Verrrry good conisdering it's not the same singer!
I love that Passion Pit song.I think you have a great outlook on your meat eating. One day at a time
hahaha i love cookie crisp! thats hilarious..i like to think you burn more calories when you are doing school work
.. it works your brain HARD!
I'm in love with your music suggestions. My sister saw Regina live and said that it was MIND BLOWING. Don't worry about that meat. Sometimes you really can't help it. I've been vegan for a year but last weekend I was eating a Panera sandwich in a dark car and even though I requested for them to leave the cheese out, I'm pretty sure that it was in there. I was ready to eat my arm off and hate to waste food, so I rolled with it and ate it. We all do what we can. No worries!
gotta love giiiirls night
looks so fun & the eats look delicious!! true that– enjoy life and food!! agreeed.it's ok you ate chicken

Oh honeybun, I've totally slipped on the vegan thing–a little dairy in that or honey in this–and really, it's acceptable in my book. We're not going to lose an arm, and it's not like you eat chicken all the time. Just a baby blip on the radar.I would like that bread pudding, right now.Oh! Do I know about zeese secret trip
?Have a faaab Thursday (which is Friday here)! Loveeee you!
I think I may be obsessed with your blog, haha!Your personality seems to be reflected in your writing (though I don't really know you). I'm glad you enjoyed a meal out with friends (despite the chicken situation). I also adore your taste in music and appreciate your insight and words of wisdom!Have a fantastic night, lovely lady!xoxo becca
thanksgiving to me is stuffing, cranberry sauce, squash and lotssss of pie too
)gl with your papers!!
I love Regina. Did you see the movie 500 days of summer? "Us" is on the soundtrack!!
Lamb is AWESOME. I think I have had it only twice, but it was epic.Way to eat that meat
Next time I am in Chicago I will make you eat a scallop!
Bread pudding is the most awesomely underrated dessert!I know a guy who will order it and rate it anywhere it appears on a menu
Hope you get that job!
Love Regina Spektor! Good choice.
Meh. Labels are silly. I say, do what you want!Still sending happy Lululemon thoughts!(As a random thought, there is a foghorn going off outside my window right now. Wierd).
you are such a youtube hoe and I lurve it <3 no shame about the chicken girl — theres no such thing as a "perfect" diet … and sometimes we're gonna have to venture outside of our regular routine — it's a part of life and I'm actually very proud of you for doing so with no regrets. That's my girl
! xo
glad to see that others struggle with the vegetarian thing like I do too. you are right though- who needs labels? They labeled Johnny and they were WRONG!btw- secret vacation? In fact secrets secrets are no fun- secrets secrets hurt someone (Office fan?) ha.
yummy eats as always!jenna
Hey girl, just wanted to let you know that I tagged you for Truth Week!xoxoMaggie
