Band Aids for my Birthday
It is safe to say I got all that and more!
From Friday through Monday (my actual day of birth) I went out and out and out. It was just amazing. I also awoke Monday morning to about 100 Facebook messages and wall posts from so many lovely blog friends. It honestly was the best part to my birthday!
Other great presents? Mamma Nut gave me a gift card for a MASSAGE, another friend gave me a few movies and a gift card to Forever 21, Em and Mod gave me the prettiest cake ever at my birthday dinner, and I was given unlimited amounts of pours of champagne, brewski, and delish shots.
23 could be the best year ever.
What have I learned so far?
It is okay to not workout for 4 days. The only “workout” I got in this weekend was lots of dancing and lots of Flippy Cup.
When its your birthday you can have cake for breakfast.
Waking up with bruises means you had a great night and maybe twirled into the corner of a few too many bars while dancing….
Showering is overrated. Wear a hat. Wear sunglasses.
Taking life so seriously is not worth it….Dancing on street corners, wearing sunglasses in a bar, playing random songs on a juke box, and drinking beer out of red SOLO cups while not paying attention to the Super Bowl, makes life more interesting.
Dying your hair can be problematic when drinking a beer–try not to stain your face next time.
